Winter's favourite food with a twist-Saag Chicken
I just love spinach and totally relish the sarson da saag and aloo palak. Recently i came across the chicken version of saag(spinach).There are almost 15-20 different versions of saag chicken using exotic ingredients available on net so i decided to give the recipe a try with a bit of modification.My version is rather simple with easily available ingredients at home. So without much ado i start with the main ingredients: Main Ingredients Spinach (150gms- blanched) Boneless Chicken thigh fillets cut into medium chunks( skin off- 1/2 kg) Pureed onions( medium- 2 no) Ginger garlic paste(2 teaspoons) Cumin seeds(2 teaspoons) Pureed Tomato(medium-2 no) Turmeric powder(1 1/2 teaspoon) Coriander powder(2 teaspoons) Garam Masala( 3/4 teaspoons) Salt to taste.
